Ibaraki Nature Museum is beside Sugao Marsh that is the largest nature conservation area in Ibaraki. Within approx. 16 hectare area, there is a museum facility and an outdoor facility. You can learn about the history of earth with interactive exhibit in the museum. Then, you can experience in the real nature what you learned.

Free admission days for Elementary & Junior High school students:
Second and Forth Saturday of every month (Except for spring, summer & winter vacation)

Free admission days: Spring Equinox Day, Greenery Day and Memorial Day for residents of Ibaraki
